The Punta Celeste archaeological zone is located inside the Botazoo Ecological Park. These ruins are still relatively unexplored; yet trekking through the pristine jungle makes it well worth the adventure. Here you can learn about the magic and mystery of the Zapotec culture. The site was closed for scientific research, but is newly opened to the public.
